LotaData is based out of San Francisco and collects data to understand why people are at a certain place during a certain time. The company started in 2015 and aims to answer the question “why are they here?” They use cloud computing, data science, and machine learning to receive this information and all personal identifiable information is left out. They collect data in major cities all around the world. LotaData works with regional government, enterprise businesses, programmatic networks, and mobile app developers.


Qlue

Qlue’s headquarters is in Jakarta and was founded in 2014. The company developed an app that helps people connect with people in their neighborhoods and government officials. The dashboard can also monitor problems such as bribery, flooding, and damaged roads through citizen’s reporting. The app can monitor energy usage and adjust the required energy and monitor traffic as well. If there are problems in these areas, the app can recommend solutions. They are currently located in nine cities and growing.


HAAS Alert

HAAS Alert is based out of Chicago and founded in 2015. The company provides a vehicle to vehicle notification system that works in real-time. It is a mobile platform that warns motorists when an emergency vehicle is approaching. The platform also provides safety information and broadcasts your fleets’ location while they are in the field.
