San Francisco-based startup, Node, has raised $10.8 million in Series A, bringing their total funding to $16.3 million. The round was led by Avalon Ventures, with participation from Bee Partners, Sway Ventures, Canaan Partners, NEA, Gree, Inc., Michael Start, Industry Ventures, and Mark Cuban.
Node is a startup that offers a platform which uses artificial intelligence to find sales leads. The company has been quiet for over two years, up until the announcement of their new venture financing round.
Node has been working with enterprise customers and is now making its discovery engine available to businesses across the globe. Their relationship graph shows over half a billion profiles of companies and people, with insights that are remarkably useful to marketers.
“Ninety percent of the information on the web was created in just the last two years and that pace is only increasing. Search is great when you know what you’re looking for, but what about the people and companies on the web you don’t know you should be looking for?” said Node Founder & CEO Falon Fatemi. “With Node, we’re creating a new paradigm in how people and businesses build connections and realize new opportunities. Helping companies discover their next best customers is just the start.”
Node’s advisory and leadership team include data engineers and tech entrepreneurs from Google, Microsoft, and Facebook, among others.
