Google is offering courses on artificial intelligence and machine learning for free to everyone through Learn With Google AI.
Have you ever wanted to know how to program artificial intelligence? With so many recent developments in machine learning and AI populating news feeds across the web, you certainly would not be alone.
Among the leaders of AI technology is Google. Google utilizes artificial intelligence to understand what people search, the ways they might search for it (re: natural language processing, NLP), and what they might search for next. AI algorithms help Google understand what content is most valuable to internet users who are searching for a particular topic, who has authority in that niche, and which results should be shown at the top of that page. Google also uses deep learning techniques for image analysis and enhancement as well as understanding video content and automatically generating summaries of information presented in video format.
Google, whose CEO believes AI is more profound than fire or electricity, has taken a bold step to open opportunities in the field of artificial intelligence by providing free learning resources to anyone interested through their Learn With Google AI portal.
The courses were originally created for internal purposes at Google. Now, they have opened them to the public for free. Over 18,000 Googlers have already signed up for the courses. Google’s AI courses are relevant to beginners and experts alike, and they offer everything from advanced TensorFlow tutorials to a Machine Learning Crash Course.
Zuri Kemp, Program Manager for Google’s machine learning education explained the following in a press release:
We believe it’s important that the development of AI reflects as diverse a range of human perspectives and needs as possible. So, Google AI is making it easier for everyone to learn ML by providing a huge range of free, in-depth educational content.
