If you work in any kind of business, you likely feel one of two ways about conferences: they’re either a fun time and a great way to rub elbows with other professionals in your industry, or they’re a grueling gauntlet of packing up, traveling, setting up, sitting/standing all day, and then packing backup to go home again. You either love them or you don’t. If you’re in the former camp and you work in the retail industry, we’re happy to report that there’s no shortage of great retail tech conferences you can attend during the 2018 calendar year where you’ll learn about the latest and greatest technology behind the retail experience, and you’ll get to connect with other professionals in your space.
As it just so happens, we’ve put together a list of the top four retail tech conferences you can attend in 2018. Be sure to take note in your calendar of the ones that interest you and book your tickets when you’re ready. You won’t want to miss these.

May 1-2, 2018

Many conferences are interested in covering what’s currently trending in the retail technology space, but the Retail Innovation Conference is more concerned with what’s currently being invented to make the shopping experience even better. The focus is all about disruption — how to take the current retail industry space and turn it upside down to create new and exciting ways for stores and shoppers to interact. And judging from the list of speakers, the conference is sure to deliver. You’ll hear from Luke Chatelain (VP of Innovation at West Elm), Krissie Millan (VP of E-Commerce and Innovation at Rebecca Minkoff), John Sheldon (CRO/CMO of FreshDirect), and Amit Shah (CMO at 1-800-FLOWERS.com).
