Episode 57 - How Blockchain Is Solving For The Legal Cannabis Industry - Blockchain Disruption Podcast

Imagine diving head-first into massive bitcoin investment on little more than a suggestion from your attorney. What would prompt you to do such a thing? Would you even have the intestinal fortitude to make such a bold leap?

These are questions for Dan Reitzik, who took that leap roughly three years ago. His ultimate goal became to bring industrial-scale cryptocurrency investment tools to Canadians, and as CEO and director of DMG Blockchain Solutions, he grapples with other pressing questions.

How does one avoid dependence on outside investors in such a capital-intensive industry? What’s an appropriate reaction when presented with a $17,000 electric bill? How is blockchain being applied in growth industries to drive efficiency?

Dan and his team have used many of those lessons towards improving both the legal cannabis industry and supply chain management, among others.

Dan gives his unique perspective on all of these experiences and hurdles – and more – over the course of 20 brisk minutes. For more of Dan’s insights, give it a listen!
